Zaro Izakaya in Sunway Pyramid

IMG_2329

Last friday we went to this japanese restaurant called Zaro Izakaya in Sunway Pyramid for dinner. It was a birthday treat for our lovely friend, WW.

We arrived there late coz we had spent approximately 30 mins just to find a carpark space. IV and AN has arrived much earlier and they managed to get a table for us.

This restaurant is located at the Orange Boulevard, behind the Haagen Daaz outlet. Facing the highway leading to NPE.

First, i realised the food is kinda pricey! A small bowl of potato salad costs RM10!!! and second, the decor of the restaurant sucks! They had this green neon lightings which do not go with the magenta + maroon decor lights. Sigh! And also, the music is TOO loud!!!!

Do u know that we had to repeat the orders a few times because the waiter is not able to listen to us clearly coz of the loudness of the music???!! and worst still, he had placed wrong orders to us and charged us wrongly!!!

Frankly speaking, i will never go there again for dining the next time. Food so-so only, price too expensive & decor sucks!!!

Oh, and take a look at this picture which i took from the restaurant that nite. Realise something is weird about this photo?

the water meter is located so high up. Almost touching the ceiling of the restaurant. funny rite?! i wonder how the SYABAS ppl who do meter reading going to take the reading. Must use ladder to climb up and read? or use binoculars. hahahah!!!!

anyway, here are some of the food we had on that nite.

Yes, u read it right! i am flying again…. ^_^ do u know that Air Asia now is having mega sale?! all fares to many destinations are going very cheap. I just loved this!

i just bought a return ticket to Brunei. Yay!!! Tot of giving my sis a surprise visit but then decided to inform her earlier. Worried later no one come & pick me up in the brunei airport. hahaha!

I will be away from 11th July to 13th July. Yeah, just a short weekend trip. I miss my sis and also my beloved niece, Justene. Normally my sis will only be back during the CNY to our hometown.

Sigh! everyone’s busy…everyone has their own commitment…well, that’s life. Anyway, now at least i can look forward to july. My last trip was in May 2008 and now i am dreading for another holiday. hahaha!

Cute or not? this is a gift from a friend… the actual giraffe in the manual book does not have the ribbon and the necklace one. This is a ‘modified’ version already. hehe…

Anyway, thanks to SL for making me this giraffe and many thanks to MS for your guidance to SL and making this giraffe a reality. :P I really appreciate it a lot! ^_^

what?!!! petrol up by 78 cents!!!

Today when i received the news from the 2 sms-es from my friends, i was shocked! a tremendous increase of 78 cents to RM2.70 per litre of pump petrol starting 5th june 2008. It is ridiculous!!! soon u will see more price hike in other things, example rice, cooking oil, flour, sugar and etc.

It is sad to know that things will start to increase price but our wages will still remain…. i don’t understand how the low income earners going to cope with this? They are the most affected ones and we, the middle income earners, also felt the pinch.

In tonite’s Buletin Utama news just now, the PM stated that our petrol price shall be revised every month, depending on the market price. I wonder la, if the market price of the petrol really go down, then will our PM revised the petrol tariff to a lower rate? or just leave it as it is the previous month? Can anyone give me some comments on that? T_T

sigh! i think i better go to sleep now. The more we think of it, we also can’t change the fact….then, go to bed now!!!

good nite…
