energizer night race 2010...

well, well... i found out abt this energizer night race not long ago in facebook and was excited to signed up. Finally i registerd online and to my shock, the registration fee is freaking RM60!!! I told myself that the goodie bag gotta be good then coz RM60 is a huge sum for a race! haha...

So, this quarter of Year 2010... i'll be running in 3 events... putrajaya night run this saturday, 6th feb 2010 followed by Bareno Run 14th March and Energizer Night Race 27th March 2010.

I am so excited of all these 3 run events!!! looking forward for more runs in this year. :)

runs for 1st quarter of 2010...

i just signed up for Bareno Run 2010... yay! 10km at bukit jalil stadium... event will be on sunday, 14th march 2010.

before this march, i will attend the Putrajaya Night Marathon 2010... a night run though. something different. Same like last year's Shape Run also held in putrajaya in the evening. This night run will be 7.7km...weird, they dun have 10km. Either 5km, 7.7km, 21km and 42km...

anyway, for this year i will keep on running slowly... all the time 10km for my preparation (hopefully) for 21km this year end in Std Chart Singapore Marathon. I know not easy though, but i will try...

so i must keep on training... wish me luck! :))

Happy New Year 2010!!!

This is another quick and short post... i can't believe it that today is the last day in Year 2009! Tomorrow will be a new year, the year of the tiger...

Year 2009 has been quite a rollercoaster... sad moments, happy moments... and other than that, i have adopted a new hobby... running! :) Started small in March 2009 but got seriously into running 3rd quarter of the year.

Here's the summary of my babysteps for the year 2009:

1) March - Peace Run (8km)
2) June - SCKLM (5km)
3) July - Shape Run (5km)
4) October - DUKEthon (5km)
5) November - Genting Trailblazer (14km)
6) December - SCSM (10km)

I hope that Year 2010 i can achieve more in my own running record... and to start the year off, i've registered for the Putrajaya Night Marathon (7.7km) on 6th Feb 2010, a week before CNY! Wish me luck!!! :) and happy new year to all!

Borneo Rainforest outing...

wow... the outing was good! Live band was good... good selection of music...but most important of all, good company of friends... ^_^

went there with 2 of my close girlfriends...SA & FL. Time to catch up with each other too. Been a while since we last meet up...Moreoever, we just need to take a break from work! work has been crazy! Crazy & busy work week... stress from work... time to de-stress...

had some light snacks and some cocktails... listened to cool music by the live band. Loud music!!! a good way to un-wind & release tension. hahaha!

oh my gosh... it's been like almost 1 year without any posting to my blog. gawd!!!

so, any of u been missing my post? hehehe... well, throughout these few months, many things had come & passed...ups & downs... happy & sad moments...

Christmas 2008 came & passed...and New Year 2009 arrived & lonnggg time gone.... and CNY 2009 just went by in like split seconds.... gosh! time really flies!!!

For this year 2009, nothing much i would expect... just hoping for good health, good & stable job & income plus many many happy moments to be shared among friends & family!

This year too i'll be having a few holiday trips... went to Jakarta + Bandung in March 2009 for 4 days 3 nites. Trip was fun! Enjoyed the sceneries & food as well... u all can view the photos in http://picasaweb.google.com/eanmei/JakartaBandungTrip

Next trip would be Kota Kinabalu Sabah from May 1st to 3rd. Going there to visit my good friend & also holiday. The last time i went to KK was like...year 1998.... that was more than a decade ago!!!!

Then, parents coming down KL on 7th May 2009... we'll be going to Bangkok on 8th May for a 5 days 4 nites trip. My colleagues parents & aunties will also join us for the trip. Total adults 8 person. ^_^ i know my parents is very excited abt this coming Bangkok trip... :) I will upload more photos in my picasaweb when i am back from both the trips...

well, for mean time...this will be my post...to start it off for the Year 2009. hehehe...

it’s been a month long….sigh!

well, well, well….it’s been a month long since i last blogged about the japanese food i had in sunway pyramid. time really flies…

hmm, let me see…. after the japanese food treat in pyramid, i was so tied up with my project schedule. Besides that, I have also signed up a course in the end of June 2008 to further make my schedule more hectic!!! hahahah!!!! Crazy me!

And then, i am off to brunei in mid of july to visit my sis and my beloved niece, justene. ^_^ Right after that, here i am… stuck in the office again with tons of workload. sigh!!!

oh yeah, not forgetting too… early next mth, my sis-in-law, Kathy will give birth to a baby boy. By that time, i will ‘naik pangkat’ and become ‘ah kor’ (auntie) already. So we’ll have a new family member in the Yap’s family. ^_^ My bro has decided to name his son, Dylan Yap. I am so excited and can’t wait for that moment to come as i can see Kathy too is very excited about it!

This excitement too has traveled as far as to KB & to Brunei. hehehe!!! My mum has even bought a new Doraemon wardrobe for Dylan as Kathy will be going back to KB for her confinement. :) My sis in brunei too has bought many clothes and also those baby stuff for Dylan. So now u see, i went to brunei apart from visiting my sis & justene, i am also the so-called ‘Santarina’ to bring Dylan’s stuff back to KL.  T_T  hahaha!!!!

Anyway, i enjoyed myself during the weekend break in Brunei eventhough it was such a short trip. It seems that flying to brunei has been my annual affair as last year i also went to visit my sis about this time. It has been 2 years in a row. :) Hope this will be the annual trip for the many years to come. :)

Zaro Izakaya in Sunway Pyramid

Last friday we went to this japanese restaurant called Zaro Izakaya in Sunway Pyramid for dinner. It was a birthday treat for our lovely friend, WW.

We arrived there late coz we had spent approximately 30 mins just to find a carpark space. IV and AN has arrived much earlier and they managed to get a table for us.

This restaurant is located at the Orange Boulevard, behind the Haagen Daaz outlet. Facing the highway leading to NPE.

First, i realised the food is kinda pricey! A small bowl of potato salad costs RM10!!! and second, the decor of the restaurant sucks! They had this green neon lightings which do not go with the magenta + maroon decor lights. Sigh! And also, the music is TOO loud!!!!

Do u know that we had to repeat the orders a few times because the waiter is not able to listen to us clearly coz of the loudness of the music???!! and worst still, he had placed wrong orders to us and charged us wrongly!!!

Frankly speaking, i will never go there again for dining the next time. Food so-so only, price too expensive & decor sucks!!!

Oh, and take a look at this picture which i took from the restaurant that nite. Realise something is weird about this photo?

the water meter is located so high up. Almost touching the ceiling of the restaurant. funny rite?! i wonder how the SYABAS ppl who do meter reading going to take the reading. Must use ladder to climb up and read? or use binoculars. hahahah!!!!

Anyway, we had lotsa fun that nite coz after the dinner, we went clubbing in CoCo Banana (formerly known as Q-Bar). It was an all-girls nite out & we partied till the wee hours! :)
